Warpitch

Warpitch is a turn-based fantasy football game for 2 players (in the same PC or online multiplayer, also 1vsIA in beta). Two teams of 7 fight over the ball on a 20 × 11 grid, and whoever carries it into the opposing end zone the most times wins.

The rules fit on a single page: you can learn it in 5 minutes, but every turn is a gamble. Fail a risky action and you lose the rest of your turn.

Features

• 3 teams with their own style: Humans, Halflings and Orcs.
• 4 classes per team: Runners, Thrower, Catcher and Support, each with Strength, Dexterity, Speed, Ball Handling and hit points.
• Tactics on every square: move, dodge, tackle opponents, pick up the ball and throw long passes or hand-offs.
• Simple, transparent dice: each attribute point is one die, and a single 6 is a success. Before every action you see how many dice you'll roll and your chance of success.
• Timed matches: 2 halves of 8 turns per team, with a per-turn clock of 5, 8, 10 or 15 minutes.
• Injuries: every fall costs hit points, and an injured player is out for the rest of the match.
